Schuylkill Action Network To Hold Virtual Annual Meeting Nov. 13

The Schuylkill Action Network will hold a virtual Annual Meeting on November 13 from 10:00 a.m. to Noon.

The program includes celebrating the annual MVP Awards and a sneak peak at the new 2021-2021 Schuylkill Action Network Strategic Action Plan.

Also on the agenda are presentations on--

-- One Water Approach & Integrated Water Management: Dr. Harry Zhang, PE, The Water Research Foundation;

-- Environmental Justice in the Schuylkill River Watershed: Matthew Lee, EPA Region 3 and

-- Project Funding Panel Lightning Rounds with Schuylkill River Greenways, DCNR, NRCS.

So far, the Network has helped permanently protect 17.5 percent of the watershed, invested $14 million in abandoned mine drainage treatment projects and leveraged $9.2 million in restoration projects.
