The Wild Resource Conservation Fund directs resources from a state income tax checkoff and donations toward endangered and threatened species—both plants and animals—and educates both children and adults on how to help recognize and preserve some of Pennsylvania’s most sensitive flora and fauna.

The chairman of the Fund for 2006 is Sen. Ray Musto (D-Luzerne).
