Appalachian Audubon Society Accepting Applications For Hog Island Teen Camp Scholarships

The Appalachian Chapter of the Audubon Society is now accepting applications for the 2021 Hog Island Teen Camp Scholarships for students 14 to 17.  The deadline to apply is January 22.

The Chapter serves Cumberland, Dauphin, Northern York and Perry counties.

The 330 acre Hog island is located in Bremen, Maine has a rich history in American Ornithology with its first bird instructor, Roger Tory Peterson. The Audubon programs allow enthusiastic young birders to work with some of the country's best-known birders

and ornithologists on field identification, bird ecology and conservation.
