Controlled Plant & Noxious Weed Committee Adds 6 Plants To Control List

On October 22, the Department of Agriculture's Controlled Plant and Noxious Weed Committee voted to add to six plants to the noxious weed list. (formal notice)

The plants include--

-- Japanese Angelica Tree (Aralia elata) Proposed

-- Japanese Hops (Humulus japonica) Proposed

-- Oriental Bittersweet (Celastrus orbiculatus) Proposed

-- Black Swallowort (Vincetoxium nigrum syn, Cynachum louiseae)

-- Pale Swallow Wort (Vincetoxium rossicum syn. Cynachum rossicum)

-- Mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris)
