The Winter issue of the PLAY-- PA League Of Angling Youth-- Newsletter from the Fish and Boat Commission helps students learn about vernal pools.

Vernal pools are temporary, seasonal wetlands that are home to unique animal species.  Learn what animals live there, the threats to vernal pools and how to lend a helping hand.

PLAY is written for youth ages 8 to 12 years old and is included in the Commission’s magazine PA Angler & Boater quarterly throughout the year.
