The Pittsburgh-based Landforce job readiness and land stewardship program is now accepting applications for 2021 crew members in Pittsburgh and the surrounding neighborhoods.  The deadline for applications is March 11.

Crew Members

Landforce crew members take on green infrastructure for nonprofit, public and other groups on maintenance, habitat restoration, trail construction and other projects to provide members with real work experience and personal training to help them secure positions in the job market.

Landforce provides opportunities for people (individuals returning from incarceration, struggling with addiction, mental health diagnoses, who are homeless, or living in poverty) as they move towards economic mobility.

They  combine workforce development training with environmental stewardship employment and transitional support to new employment.
