House Committee Sets March 16 & 23 Hearings On Electric Competition, State Of Electric Industry

The House Consumer Affairs Committee has scheduled two public hearings on issues related to electric competition and the state of the electric industry in Pennsylvania.

On March 16 the Committee will hear testimony from the Public Utility Commission and the Energy Association of Pennsylvania on the electric industry.

The hearing will be in Room 140 of the Capitol Building and start at 10:00 a.m.

On March 23, the Committee will hear testimony related to the 25th anniversary of the Electricity Generation Customer Choice and Competition Act from the Retail Energy Suppliers Association, Vistra Energy and PPL Electric.

The hearing will be held in Room 205 Ryan Building starting at 10:00 a.m.
