Penn State Extension is hosting another in its series of Water Cooler Talks on March 31 - Managing Stormwater With Trees and Forests-- from Noon to 1:00 p.m.

Trees and forests play a significant role in reducing stormwater and pollutant loads and can be one of the most cost-effective and greenest approaches to managing stormwater.

Explore the multiple ways that trees and forests reduce stormwater and associated nutrient and pollutant loads while they provide so many additional community benefits such as reducing summer temperatures and saving energy; sequestering carbon and removing air pollutants; increasing property values; and improving human health and mental wellness.
