Earth Conservancy Holds Info Sessions On Environmental Workforce Training Program; Now Accepting Sign Ups In NE PA

The Luzerne County-based Earth Conservancy is now accepting sign ups for its Environmental Workforce Training Program and is holding a series of information sessions on the program for interested applicants.

Through this program, the Conservancy trains 25 unemployed/underemployed workers from northeastern Pennsylvania annually in surveying and environmental cleanup skills and technologies with their partner, Penn State Wilkes-Barre.

Information sessions will be held with PA CareerLink Luzerne County May 5, 19, June 2, 16, 30, July 14, 28 and August 11. Click Here to register for a session.

Classes are anticipated to begin in early September and will run approximately three months and involve 235 hours of training.
