Call For WeConservePA Land Conservation Conference Workshop Proposals; Award Nominations

WeConserve PA has issued a call for workshop proposals and is now accepting nominations for its Local Government Conservation Leadership Award related to its 2022 PA Land Conservation Conference to be held March 16-18 in Gettysburg.

The PA Land Conservation Conference is Pennsylvania’s premier networking, training, and inspirational event for staff and volunteers of conservation groups.

Educational sessions will be scheduled on Thursday and Friday, March 17 & 18.

The Conference is planned as an in-person event. For health and safety, WeConservePA plans to require conference attendees to be vaccinated against COVID.

Should circumstances require a shift to virtual or hybrid format, please consider how your presentation might be adapted to be presented online.

Conservation Award

As WeConservePA strives to increase and improve land conservation efforts in Pennsylvania, we recognize the importance of local government leadership in these endeavors.

Organizations are invited submit their nomination for a county or municipality to be recognized with the Local Government Conservation Leadership Award
