Landforce Receives $15,000 Grant From Hydro Flask Parks For All Program

On January 18, Hydro Flask announced the award of over $400,00 in grants and product donations through its Parks for All Program to support projects such as building and maintaining parks, community education and more.

Pittsburgh-based Landforce was awarded a $15,000 grant to provide environmental stewardship employment to build and repair trails at two conservation areas in Western Pennsylvania.

"We are thrilled to celebrate five years of giving through Parks For All," said Indigo Teiwes, Director, Corporate Responsibility. "We believe that the outdoors and green spaces lead to healthier, happier and more fulfilled lives. Everyone deserves the mental and physical benefits that the outdoors can provide and we're proud to partner with organizations whose work makes this a reality for so many."

Landforce crew members take on green infrastructure for nonprofit, public and other groups on maintenance, habitat restoration, trail construction and other projects to provide members with real work experience and personal training to help them secure positions in the job market.

Landforce provides opportunities for people (individuals returning from incarceration, struggling with addiction, mental health diagnoses, who are homeless, or living in poverty) as they move towards economic mobility.

They combine workforce development training with environmental stewardship employment and transitional support to new employment.
