PA Resources Council Hosts Webinars On Rain Barrels, Backyard Composting, Recycling In April

In April, the Pennsylvania Resources Council will host environmental education webinars to teach residents principles of backyard composting, options for recycling a wide variety of materials, and methods for protecting watersheds including using rain barrels

All workshops listed below take place online from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. on the following dates--

-- April 7: Watershed Awareness & Rain Barrel: ($80 course fee includes 55-gallon rain barrel) for residents of southwestern PA (following online instruction, participants will pick up rain barrels at PRC’s Pittsburgh office);

-- April 12: Recycling & Waste Reduction: Free for residents living in Pennsylvania;

-- April 13: Backyard Composting: ($70 course fee includes 82-gallon compost bin) for residents of southeastern and southwestern PA (following online instruction, participants will pick up compost bins at PRC’s office in Delaware County or Pittsburgh)

-- April 19: Watershed Awareness & Rain Barrel: ($80 course fee includes 55-gallon rain barrel) for residents of southwestern PA (following online instruction, participants will pick up rain barrels at PRC’s Pittsburgh office); and

-- April 25: Backyard Composting: ($70 course fee includes 82-gallon compost bin) for residents of southeastern and southwestern PA (following online instruction, participants will pick up compost bins at PRC’s office in Delaware County or Pittsburgh).
