House Environmental Committee Meets April 26 To Consider Solar/Wind Energy Bonding, Windmill Interference Bills

The House Environmental Resources and Energy Committee is scheduled to hold a meeting April 26 to consider legislation on decommissioning solar and wind energy facilities and protecting military facilities from windmill interference.

The legislation includes--

-- Solar/Wind Energy Facility Decommissioning: House Bill 2104 (Rapp-R-Forest) setting statewide bonding and decommissioning requirements for solar and wind energy facilities.  The bill also preempts local governments from adopting their own regulations.

The meeting will be held in Room G-50 of the Irvis Building starting at the Call of the Chair-- sometime after the House convenes.  Click Here to watch online.
