DEP Invites Comments On Electric Grid Resilience Plan At Aug. 31 Virtual Meeting

The Department of Environmental Protection will host a virtual meeting August 31 on Preventing Power Outages and Enhancing Resilience of Electric Grids.  The meeting is related to implementing the federal Bipartisan Infrastructure Law(formal notice)

The purpose of the meeting is to invite public input to DEP’s Plan to apply for a yearly allocation of approximately $8.1 million to strengthen this Commonwealth's electric grid against extreme weather and other natural disasters that are exacerbated by climate change.

This program will provide approximately $8.1 million annually through 2026 .
