Brodhead Watershed Association Honors Volunteer Wendy Lichty, Dr. Matt Connell For Conservation Efforts At Sept. 23 Celebration

On September 23, Monroe County-based Brodhead Watershed Association will recognize volunteer Wendy Lichty and Dr. Matt Connell for their conservation efforts at the Annual Members and Friends Celebration at the Stroudsmoor Country Inn in Stroudsburg.

Larry Schweiger, award-winning author and distinguished conservationist, will deliver the keynote address, “For the Nature of Tomorrow: A Message of History and Climate Change”

This elegant evening event will be held in celebration of BWA’s continued efforts to promote and protect clean and abundant water in the Brodhead and Cherry Creek watersheds.

BWA honors volunteer Wendy Lichty.  She will receive the John Riley Friend of the Watershed Award for over a decade of Streamwatch team leadership.

BWA celebrates the life and community and conservation efforts of Dr. Matt Connell.
