On September 23, Sustainable Pittsburgh and CEOs for Sustainability will host a special Innovative CEOs Enabling And Expanding Decarbonization Program at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh starting at 10:15 a.m.

This program is one of over 115 side events for the Global Clean Energy Action Forum to be held in Pittsburgh.

The presentations will take a look at how business innovators are driving rapid decarbonization.

A panel of leaders in the CEOs for Sustainability executive network, hosted by the nonprofit Sustainable Pittsburgh, will share how their businesses are broadly advancing rapid decarbonization.

Panelists include businesses whose leading-edge technologies and services are reducing carbon emissions in the building and transportation sectors, as well as those pursuing net-zero goals and Science Based Targets in their own operations and supply chains.

Featured technologies include whole-building performance modeling and simulation; low-energy mixed-use building development; a 100% biodiesel fuel system for mid- to heavy-duty diesel engines; and on-site solar, wind, and EV charging.

Attendees will learn why CEOs for Sustainability leaders are committed to decarbonization and other sustainability principles as a driver of innovation and competitive advantage, including through their Leading Forward priorities for a thriving southwestern PA economy that works for all people.
