The Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency will start accepting applications for FEMA Building Resilient Infrastructure and Flood Mitigation Assistance Grants on September 30.

FEMA’s two competitive mitigation grant programs provide states, local communities, tribes and territories funding to address high-level future risks to natural disasters such as wildfires, drought, hurricanes, earthquakes, extreme heat, and increased flooding to foster greater community resilience and reduce disaster suffering.

Eligible entities need to have their Letters of Interest (LOI) [Pre-Application] into the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency  and approved by October 19.

When PEMA reviews and confirms eligibility requirements, the deadline for applications is November 16.
