There are several classes for kayaks and canoes including tandem kayaks.

The price is $45.00 for adults and $30.00 for children under the age of 18.  Competitors receive a $10 food voucher, t-shirt and goodie bag.

To be guaranteed a t-shirt, registrations must be received by April 1.

The starting line is across from the Emporium Country Club and the 11 mile race ends in Driftwood.

The event has been held for decades beginning in the 1950’s with friends and moving to the Cameron County Canoe & Kayak Classic before joining the Sinnemahone Triple Crown.

Safety for the event is coordinated with Mountaineer Search & Rescue.  Water rescue teams from across the region will be on the stream banks and fire police will direct traffic and parking at the start and finish.

Water levels may force a change to the course.  That decision will be made by April 11.

This is the first event in the 2024 Sinnemahone Triple Crown that includes the Beyond The Gravel Bike Race August 16-18 and the Sinnemahone Trail Run October 19.
