The following notices were published in the October 12 PA Bulletin related to oil and gas industry facilities.  Many of the notices offer the opportunity for public comments.

-- Pennsylvania General Energy Co, LLC - Natural Gas, Water Pipelines: DEP issued a Chapter 105 permit covering the installation of nearly four miles of two pipelines in one right-of-way with multiple stream crossings and other impacts located in Cummings and McHenry Townships, Lycoming County. -- Hyperion Midstream, LLC - 8.4 miles of 30-inch natural gas gathering pipeline: DEP issued a Chapter 105 permit covering impacts to 16 streams and 14 wetlands for this right-of-way located in Murrysville Borough, Salem and Washington Townships, Westmoreland County.  Anyone aggrieved by this decision can file an appeal with the Environmental Hearing Board within 30 days of this notice. -- Hickory Run Energy LLC - 1GW Natural Gas-Fired Power Plant: DEP issued a six month Air Quality Plan Approval Extension to allow more time for initial processing of Title V Air Quality Permit for the facility located in North Beaver Twp., Lawrence County.   (PA Bulletin, page 6508)

-- Chesapeake Appalachia LLC - Hopson Shale Gas Well Pad: DEP received a Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated with production wastewater to meet the Statewide Health Standards at the pad located in Asylum Twp., Bradford County.  (PA Bulletin, page 6503)

-- SWN Production Company, LLC - Falconero Shale Gas Well Pad: DEP received a Final Report on remediation of groundwater contaminated with production wastewater to meet the Statewide Health Standards at the pad located in Forkston Twp., Wyoming County. (PA Bulletin, page 6503)

-- Blackhill Energy LLC - Young Compressor Station: DEP approved a Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated with production wastewater to meet the Statewide Health Standards at the facility located in Springfield Twp., Bradford County.  (PA Bulletin, page 6504)

-- EQT ARO LLC - Mallory Shale Gas Pad: DEP approved a Final Report on the remediation of soil contaminated with production wastewater to meet the Statewide Health Standards at the pad located in Plunketts Creek Twp., Lycoming County.  (PA Bulletin, page 6505)

-- EQT ARO LLC - DCNR Tract 259 Shale Gas Pad: DEP approved a Final Report on the remediation of soil contaminated with production wastewater to meet the Statewide Health Standards at the pad located in Burnside Twp., Centre County.  (PA Bulletin, page 6505)

-- Tioga Marine Terminal Pier 179N - Kinder Morgan: DEP issued a Technical Deficiency Letter on the Final Report on remediation of groundwater contaminated with unleaded gasoline at the facility located at 3300 North Delaware Ave., Philadelphia. (PA Bulletin, page 6505)

So far in 2024, DEP received or acted on 221 Act 2 Land Recycling notices related to oil and gas facility site cleanups.

-- CNX Gas Company LLC - Bell Point Temporary Aboveground Storage Tank Facility: DEP invites comments on Waste General Permit WMGR163 related to construction of this facility in Bell Twp., Westmoreland County. [Correcting earlier notice]  (PA Bulletin, page 6472)

-- Range Resources-Appalachia LLC - Carbs Donald B Well Pad Water Storage Facility: DEP invites comments on Waste General Permit WMGR163 related to the construction of this 20 tank, 294,000 gallon capacity facility to be constructed in Smith Twp., Washington County.  [Correcting earlier notice]  (PA Bulletin, page 6472)

-- EMaxx Central PA LLC - Eco-Maxx Bedford Waste Oil Transfer Station: DEP renewed a Waste Permit for the facility located in Bedford Twp., Bedford County.  (PA Bulletin, page 6506)

-- Clean Earth of Southeast PA LLC - Morrisville Contaminated Soil Processing Facility: DEP approved increases in waste volume, storage volume and two new methods of treating soil contaminated with petroleum products using a biological and chemical treatment system for t he facility located in Falls Twp., Bucks County. -- Calpine Mid-Merit, LLC - York Energy Center Natural Gas-Fired Power Plant: DEP issued an Air Quality Plan Approval covering the upgrade of turbine facilities at the plant located in Peach Bottom Twp., York County.   (PA Bulletin, page 6507)
