Delaware Estuary Watershed Grants Program Requests Proposals

The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation announced a Request for Proposals for approximately $700,000 in funding under the Delaware Estuary Watershed Grants Program.

Full proposals are due August 1.

The priorities of this grant program include habitat restoration, species conservation, invasives control and watershed planning.

Eligible applicants include public or nonprofit agencies, institutions and organizations, educational institutions, and local and state government. Under DEWGP 2008, grants of $20,000 to $75,000 will be awarded on a competitive basis.

Major financial support for this program is provided by "Clear into the Future: A DuPont Delaware Estuary Initiative" as an ongoing commitment to maintain and improve the Delaware River Estuary.
